how to be successful with your social media

stick to your brand.

Choose a theme for your social media post and be consistent. Use your feed to attract your ideal client. Remember it’s not how many followers you have but how many potential clients you have. A follower from 5 states away isn’t likely to become a loyal client. Focus on what will make you money

content ideas.

I will keep a journal and write down any ideas I have that I could post about. Follow Lorena @dearlashlove on IG, she does a very good job at informing how to use your social and what to put on it. This one post really helped me out a lot.

be consistent.

Being consistent with your posts will engage more of your followers. You don’t have to post every day but if you want a social media presence you need to be giving your followers content. Try using a social media scheduler app like Later or Planoly to automatically post for you.

be personable.

Some estheticians stick to strictly business ONLY on their social. To me, that can be a little boring. I like to show my clients that I’m just like them and hope they find me relatable and trustworthy. However you find it appropriate to do your social, just make sure to make it fun. You want to attract your ideal client. It’s called SOCIAL media for a reason, it’s meant to spark interest and make people ask questions.

show your face.

People like seeing a human behind the brand. They like to know your story. Show them who you are and don’t be afraid to give them some personality!
